Tips For New Teachers

I know it's a bit unusual for a new teacher to be giving tips to other new teachers. But who else knows best what you are going through? My first few weeks of school are a blur. Meetings, trainings, trying to get into a routine, trying to find time to eat! So glad to say that I'm finally getting into my groove! I have found that the primary tool has been organization! I have organized my room, my student data, student files, curriculum and my daily routine! What has helped the most is that I have figured out how to organize my time! I have a routine that keeps me on schedule and keeps me ahead of the game. My biggest reccomendation for any new teacher is to get organized immediately! It will help keep your sanity!

  1. That is great advice, Nancy. I know what you mean about feeling a bit overwhelmed at first. I'm feeling a little more organized each day. Thank goodness! Your glogster is awesome. I want to create one just like it for my students!
